said to the sd. Fras. Baker for the Same to Eatitle him the said Wm. Martindale< no role > to the Chance of Two Shares of the plate &
Jewells aforesd. according to the Scheme aforesd. Whereupon & after Summons being indue Manner Made to the sd Fras.

< no role > in this behalf that is to say on the same 5th. Decr. 1744 At Justice Hall in the Old Baily in London afsd. the said
Fras. Baker cometh before us the sd. two Justices And then & there Appearing & being present in his Own proper person And
the Information aforesd. And the Matter therein Certained And the sd. Evidence thereupon given being now hell read unto
And fully Understood by the said Fras. Baker in the presence of us the said Justices He the sd. Francis Baker< no role > as now
here Asked by Us the said Justices if he hath or knoweth of anything to say for himself Why he the sd. Francis Baker shad
not be Convicted of the Premes aforesd. above Charged upon him in form aforesaid And because upon hearing And by us the
said Justices fully Understanding All Singular the Matters & things now here Alledged by the said Fras. Baker in his
Defence of & upon the Premes (above Charged upon him) It Manifestly Appeareth unto us the sd. Justices that the said
Fras. Baker is Guilty of the Premes in & by the sd. Information Charged upon him in manner & form As in the Information
aforesaid is above Alledged upon him Therefore it is now here Considered & Adjudged by us the aforesd. Justices that
the sd. Francis Baker< no role > upon the Evidence of the said Wm. Martindale< no role > a Credible Witness upon Oath as aforesd. before
as the sd. Justices So as aforesaid taken be & is Convicted of the Premes Seas aforesaid laid to his Charge According to
the form of the Statute in such Case made & provided And that he the said Fras. Baker do Forfeit the Sum of
£500 for the Offence aforesd. Where of he is Convicted as afsd. to be Applyed & paid According to the Direction of the Statute
in Such Case made & provided And hat the said Francis Baker< no role > ye Committed to his Majestyes Goal of Newgate
(being the County Goal for London aforesd.) thereto remain without Bail or Mainprize for the Space of One Whole Year
And from thence till the sd. Save of £500 so Forfeited as aforesaid Shall be fully paid & Satisfyed In Witness
Whereof we the sd. Justices Do set out hands & Seales to this Record at Justice Hall aforesd. in London aforesd. the
said fifth day of Decr. in the Year of our Lord One then sd. Seven hundred & Forty Four
