< no role > taken before me Thomas Jones< no role > Esqr . one of his
Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County
of Middlesex this Sixth day of April 1744

This Informant [..] Oath Saith that on or about the
fourth day of November last he this Informant together
with John Exelby< no role > and Thomas Halford< no role > between the Hours
of Twelve and One at Night did Burglariously Break the
Dwelling house of Mr. Charles Cole< no role > at the Corner of Fetter
Lane in the Parish of St. Andrew Holborne in the County
of Middlesex
and took from thence a Large Quantity of
Printed Linnens and Striped Cotton and Striped Hollands
which said Goods they sold to One Elizabeth Care of
Cross Lane of the Parish of St. Gyle's in the Feilds in the
County of Middlesex for upwards of Fourteen Pounds
which Money was Equally divided amongst them
This Informant further Saith that some little time before
the above mentioned Robbery he this Informant together
with John Exelby< no role > and Thomas Halford< no role > aforesaid did
Burglariously break open a Linnen Draper 's Shop in
Kings Street Covent Garden from whence they took
Severall peices of Printed Linnen or Cotton part of which said
Goods they sold to Elizabeth Cane< no role > abovementioned and
One Peice to One Isaac Herring< no role > at the Sign of the Prince Eugene's
Head in Purple Lane for Fifteen Shillings

This Informant further Saith that same time since
Christmas last he this Informant together with Thomas
Halford and John Exolby< no role > abovementioned did Burglariously
break open a Linnen Drapers Shop within Aldgate his
Name unknown from whence they took Severall peices of
Striped Cotton and Severall Peices of Silk and Cotton Handkercheifs
whichpart of which said Goods where sold to Elizabeth Cane< no role >
abovementionedand four Peices were Pawn'd
by the said Thomas Halford< no role > 's Wife
