At the General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the City of London
at the Guildhall within the said City on Monday the Eleventh day of
April in the Sixteenth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the
Second King of Great Britain Etc. Before Robert Willimott< no role > Esqr . Mayor
of the City of London Simon Helin< no role > Esqr . Recorder of the said City Sir
Edward Bellamy< no role > Knight Henry Marshall< no role > Esqr . and Samuel Pennant< no role >
Esqr . Aldermen of the said City and Others their Fellows Justices
Assigned to keep the Peace of Our said Lord the King within the said
City And Also to hear and determine divers Felonies Trespasses and
other misdeeds Committed Within the said City

Whereasthe Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Botolph Without Bishopsgate London Exhibited their Petition and Appeal against An
Order or Pass warrant under the Hands and Seals at two of his Majestys Justices of
the Peace for the City of London (one being of the Quorum) bearing date the Second
day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred & Forty three
Whereby Ann Longdon< no role > Singule woman was removed from the Parish of Saint
Nicholas Acons London to the Said Parish of Saint Botolph Without Bishopsgate
London Adjudging her last legal Settlement to be there by Which the Said Parish
of Saint Botolph without Bishopsgate London conceive themselves Agreived
Wherein they Pray that the Benefit at the said Appeal may be saved unto them
and that the same may be Adjourned untill the next Quarter Session of the
Peace to be held for the said City This Court therefore doth Order the same
to be filed and Adjourned Accordingly in Order that the Parties on both sides
may be heard at the next Quarter Session of the Peace Concerning the
Premisses aforesaid.
