At the General Quarter Session of the peace of our Lord the King
holden for the City of London at the Guildhall within the sd. City
on Monday the twelfth day of July in the Sixteenth year of
the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Second King of
Great Britain Etc before George Heathcote< no role > Esquire Mayor
of the City of London Sir John Strange< no role > Knight Recorder
of the said City Sir John Salter< no role > Knight Robert Westley< no role >
Aldermen of the said City and show their Fellows
Justices of our said Lord the King assigned to keep the
peace of our said Lord the King within the said City
and also to hear and determine divers Folonies Trespasses
and other Misdeeds comitted within the said City.

Whereas Sarah Egerton< no role > Widow of Sebret Egerton< no role > deceased and
his four Children by Rachael< no role > his former Wife that is to Sebret< no role > aged
eight Years Mary< no role > aged Seven Years William< no role > aged three Years and Sarah< no role >
aged one Year by Vertue of an Order or Pass Warrant under the hands and
Seals of two of his Matys Justices of the peace for the City of London (one
being of the Quorum) bearing date the twelfth day of December 1741 were
sent & delivered by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the poor of the
Parish of St. Botolph Aldgate London into the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the Parish of St. Mary White Chapel in the
County of Middx which said Justices did adjudge the place of the last
legal Settlement of the sd. Sarah Egerton< no role > and the said four Children to
be in the sd. Parish of St. Mary white Chapel Now upon hearing the
petition & Appeal of the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the
said Parish of St. Mary White Chapel against the said Order of Pass
Warrant (which was adjourned at the last General Quarter Session
of the Peace to this present Session) in the presence and hearing of
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the said Parish of St.
Botolph Aldgate it is Ordered by this Court with and by the Consent
of all parties that the Judgment and Warrant of the said two Justices
be and the same is hereby confirmed And it is likewise further
Ordered that the said Sarah Egerton< no role > and the said four Children be
provided for and maintained by the Churchwardens & Overseers of
the poor of the said Parish of Saint Mary White Chapel untill they
can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course of Law.
