The Humble Petition and Appeal of
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
poor of the Parish of St. Bartholomew

Sheweth

That by Vertue of an Order or Pass Warrant under
the Hands & Seals of St Robert Baylis< no role > & Sr . William Rons< no role >
Knts . & Aldermen & two of his Maties Justices of the
peace for the City of London & the Libties thereof (one
being of the Quorum) bearing date the Eighth day of
Octor. Instant, Mary< no role > the Wife of Robert Finch< no role > [..]
[..] (gone to sea) was removed from the Parish of St.
Clement East Cheap London unto the Parish of St. Barthew
by Exchange London, Alledging the said Parish of Saint
Bartholomew to be the Place of her last legal Settlemt.

That your Petitioners conceiving themselves
agrieved by the said Warrant or Order of Removed
as afd. Do appeal to your Lordship & Worships
therefrom, And humbly pray that yor. Lordship
& Worships will be pleased to hear them in the
premises, And that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of
Saint Clement ed Cheap may appear [..]
you to hear and abide the Judgment and
Determination of your Lordship & Worships
touching this Appeal.
