Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St: Botolph
without Bishopsgate London That
Morgan Shea< no role > Martha< no role > his Wife & their two Children (Viz) Mary< no role > aged
Twenty Seven Years & David< no role > aged Twenty four Years are

lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and forasmuch as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the Said Morgan Shea< no role > that he lived in a house of his Own in Nicholls
Street in the Hamlett of Bednal Green in the Parish of St: Dunstan at
Stepney in the County of Middx for Several Years during which time he was
Charg'd with & did pay his Share towards all the Publick Taxes of the Said Parish
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Morgan Sheas< no role > his Wife & their two Children

to be in the saidParishHamlett of Bednal Green in the Parish of St Dunstan at
Stepney in the County of Middx And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St: Botolph without Bishopsgate
London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
Morgan Steal his Wife & their two Children
from and out of your said Parish unto the saidParishHamlett of Bednal
Green in the Parish of St. Dunstan at Stepney in the County of Middx
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this Third day of May
one Thousand Seven hundred and Thirty Eight
