Alhallows on London Wall London

Whereas Complaint hath been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the Quorum by the Churchwarden
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Botolph
without Bishopgate London That
George Doncaster< no role > with Katherine< no role > his Wife & their five
Children Mary< no role > aged 16 years, Margaret< no role > aged 13 years, Susannah< no role >
aged 10 yrs. John< no role > aged 6 yrs. & Katherine< no role > aged 4 Years are
lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
ye. Said George Doncaster< no role > that about twenty five years
ago he Served Seven Years Apprenticeship with John
Taylor
< no role > & his Widow in ye. Parish of Alhollows on
London Wall London
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said George Doncaster< no role > his Said Wife
& their five Children
to be in the said Parish of Alhollows on London Wall
LondonAnd that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St. Botolph without Bishopgate
London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
George Doncaster< no role > his Said Wife & their five Children
from and out of your said Parish unto the said Parish of
Alhollows on London Wall
And themdeliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and Provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this Tenthday of October
one Thousand Seven hundred and thirty Seven
