Whereas Complaint hath been made unto us, two of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof one being of the (Quorumunus) by You the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Nicholas
Cole Abby London That Elizabeth
Turner< no role > Widdow of James Turner< no role > Deced
Tenn Years and upwards is

lately come to reside in your said Parish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there, and is likely to become chargeable
thereto, unless timely prevented; Which Complaint we judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto us by the Oath ofthe
said Elizabeth Turner< no role > , that about Nine Years agoe
she Lived as a Yearly hired Servant with Mr: John
Langley< no role > for the Space of two years & 8 pounds the Wages
of 5th. a year in ye sd. parish of St. Lawrence Jewry London
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us, We the
said Justices are of Opinion, and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Elizabeth Turner< no role >
to be in the said Parish of St Lawrence Jewry
LondonAnd that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St Nicholas Cole Abby
London, forthwith to Remove and Convey the said
Elizabeth Turner< no role >
from and one of your said Parish unto the said Parish of St
Lawrence Jewry London
And her deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or one of them, Who is and we hereby required
to Receive and Provide for her according to Law. Given
under our Hands, and Seals, this 24th day of July
