having given notice that he would appear at the Old Bayly
upon his Recognizance on Fryday being the third day of
the last Sessions to try this Indictment this Deponent did prepare
for trying the same at the said Sessions and did givethis
Mr. Hayward this depll. Councell for his attendance at the
said Sessions three Quineas and to Mr. Stracey two Guineas
And this Dept. with his said Councell and his Sollicitor & his
Witness to wit Mr. John Hawley< no role > Mr. Maybank from
the under Sheriff's office Mr. Gilbert Doughlass< no role > an Attorney
Mr. Walter Spooner< no role > John Wilson< no role > Esqr Edward Jones< no role > James
Alright
< no role > George Downes< no role > Mrs. Vansyted Mrs. Neale
Mrs. Fuller and Mrs. Child James East< no role > Joseph Twells< no role >
Mrs. Carrington Mrs. Lunnay Mr. Thomas Kingman< no role >
& Mr. PAlmer who are material Witnesses for the King on
the tryall of this Indictment attended on the said Fryday
untill the said Monday night when the Court was pleased
to order the Defts Recognizance to be ostreated and this
Dept did necessarily pay to & expend on his said Witnesses for
& during their Attendance at the said Sessions Seven pounds
over & above what it cost this Dept. bringing Mrs. Child
from Both and this Deponent Saith that the said Mrs. Child
is a Gentlewoman & lives at Both was brought from there [..]
at this Dept. expence Solely for the purpose of her
Testimony on the tryall of the said Indictment.
