The Humble Petition and appeal of Joseph Wichs< no role > and William Howes< no role > Substantiall
Householders andInhabitants and Churchwardens of the parish of Allhallows on the Wall London

Sheweth


That the said Parish of allhallows on the Wall London now is and for Severall years last past hath
been Scituate divided and Extended intot he Severall Wards of Broadstreet , Bishopsgate Aldgate and Lymestreet
in the said City of London and that there now is and for Severall years last past there hath been a Distinct
Alderman for oath of the said Wards that John Kellaway< no role > Richard Beckington< no role > Francis Holford< no role > and Charles
Pole
< no role > have been Appointed Joint Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish and now Act as Such under a-
ioynt appointment or Warrant Under the hands & Seals of Sir Gerrard Conyers< no role > and Sir Richard Hopkins< no role >
Knights , Micajah Perry< no role > and Robert Godschall< no role > Esqrs . Aldermen of the said Severall Wards

Your Petitioners humbly apprehending themselves to be Aggrieved by the said Joint
Appointment or Warrant and conceiveing the Same to be Illegall do humbly Appeale
from the Same and pray that the said Loyut appointment or Warrant way be Quashed
and that they may be otherwise releived as to your Lordship and Worships Shall Seen meet
