Sr:
I have received your Letter & the Appointed
mentinclos'd & am ro in from you that you & the
other Sufferers must Make Proof upon Oath before
the Justices of the Peace
for the City of London
at their general Quarter Sessions of their said
several & respective Losses. And as this Alfair
is generally transacted by the Clerk of the Peace of
the County where such Losess happen and this being
in the City of London
, your & the rest of the Sufferers
Application must be to the said Clerk, who I am told
is Mr: Tanner at Fishmongers
Hall in Thames
Street; When the Losses are proved in open
Court as aforesaid the Jusitices will sign a Certificate
to my Lord Chancallor without which us Brief can be
obtaind; I have not now time or I would have
called upon you but I have given You this Infor
mation that you may get it effected the first
Opportunity, in which I wish you speedy success
and am
