This day a former difference between John Mitchin Plt
and Geo: Goodey< no role >
Defendt. was Agreed up and General Releases
Executed between them about 4o' thClock in ye. Afternoon
The same Night about Nine o'Clock Geo: Goodey< no role >
came to
the Jacobs Well in Grubstreet
and John Mitchin< no role >
being there
the said Geo: Goodey< no role >
in a very abusive riotous manner challenged the
said John Mitchin< no role >
to fight (who refus'd) and Stripd. off his Cloaths,
to his naked skin and so continued waring rioting & Swearing
and Challenging Mitchin to fight brandishing his first & Striking
at the said Mitchin in a very wrathfull manner for about two
hours threatning to beat him in so much that Mitchin was
Obliged to leave the Company & house for his Security
Next Morning Geo: Goodey came to the Aforesaid Jacobs Wells
and Enquir'd of a Neighbour where the aforesaid Mitchin was &
then in cool Blood Swore that he never should be Satisfied [..]
he had revenged himself on John Mitchin< no role >
that if he could have
got to him the night before he wod. have beat out Mitchins brains
against the Partition & at the same time [..] Violently Struck
the Partition with his fist
for which reasons John Mitchin cannot go about his
Business for fear of an injury being done to him at [..]
