Did on the Monday before
last Easter in the Presence of this Examinant [..] take and Steale
from the workhouse
of their said master a firkin of rough
fatt which this Examinant the next day Sold to Charles Hall< no role >
for ten Shillings and Six pence whereout this examinant paid two
or three alehouse reckonings for liquors they both had [..]
and that on ye Eve of last Easter they two together took &
Stole another firkin of Tallow which this examinant
Sold the monday following to ye sd. Hall for thirteen Shillings
and that on the following Saturday they Stole another firkin
of Tallow which this examinant on the Monday following
Sold to the same Charles Hall< no role >
for fifteen Shillings, both
Which last mentioned firkins were taken out of their said
masters work house by the said Thomas pearce< no role >
who assisted
this Examinant in carrying them as well as the first to the
said Halls, to whome this Examinant Sold the same, whilst
the said pearce was waiting neare Halls house, and that
the thirteen Shillings for the Second parcell were equally
divided between this Examinant & pearce, & the fifteene
Shillings for the last parcell was by them Spent at
Severall Alehouses
