To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St Bridgett als Bride
London andthe Churchwardens
an Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St
Olave art street London

Whereas Complaint hat been made unto Us two of
His Majesties Justices of the Peace for this City and the
Liberties thereof (Quorum unus) by You the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish of St Bridgett
als BrideLondon That Margt.
Whitaker
< no role > the Wife of William Whittaker< no role > & Hester< no role >
her Female Infant aged abt. one year & half are
lately come to reside in your said arish not having obtaind any
Legal Settlement there and are likely to become chargeable
thereto unless timely prevented Which Complaint We judge to
be true and for as much as it appears unto Us by the Oath of
the sd Margaret Whitaker< no role > that her Husband Wm: Whitaker< no role >
served Thomas Middleton< no role > in Savage Gardens in the Pish of St
Olave Hart street London Cooper as his apprentice for the Space
of Four years
And no other Subsequent Settlement appearing unto Us We the
Said Justices are of opinion and do Adjudge the last Legal
Settlement of the said Margaret Whitaker< no role > & her Child Hester
to be in the said parish of St Olave Hart street London
And that thitherto they ought by Law
to be sent.

These are therefore in his Majesties Name to Will and
Require You the Chruchwardens and Overseers of the poor of
the said parish of St Bridgett als Bride
London forthwith to Remove and Convey the said Margt.
Whitaker & her Female Child Hester
from an out of your said parish unto the said parish of st
Olave Hart street London
And them deliver unto the Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poor there or one of them Who is and are hereby required
to Receive and provide for them according to Law Given
under our hands and Seals this 23dday of October
Anno Domini 1732 .
