Church-Wardens and Overseers of
the Parish of St Bridgate Brides in the sd
City of London respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of St Magnes by London Bridge
London, That John White< no role > Ann< no role > his wife hath
Lately Intruded themselves into
your said Parish not having obtained any legal Settlement
there, and are likely to become Chargeable thereto,
by Reason of their Great Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of Mary White< no role > of the
Said parish of St Magnes by London Bridge
That John White< no role > above named (her sone) did about
two years since keep the Kings Arines Tabourn [..]
[..] had gate hill in the parish of St Bridgets ats St
Brides London by the space of two years & upwards
at the year by rent of fifty Pounds a year and have
not obtain any subsequent Settlement. We the said
Justices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the
Last legal Settlement of the said John White< no role > Ann
his wife to be
in the said Parish of St Bridgats ats St Brides in
the City of London and that thitherto
They ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said John White< no role >
& [..] Ann his wife
from and out of your said Parish of St. Magnes by
London Bridge London, to the said Parish of
St. Bridgets ats St Brides in the said City of
London and them leave with
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for them according to Law. Hereof sail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 11th Day of February Anno
Domini 1731 Annoq; Regni Regis George 2di s 5th
