this Sixth day of April Anno Dm One
Thousand Seven Hundred and thirty
Two before Richard Ricards< no role > Esqr : & one
of his Maities Justices of the Peace for
the said County of Midlx who upon
his Oath saith Vizt:

That on the 23d: day of August: on September
last past he this Informt: was coming home
through Leadenhall street two Women came
up to him and took hold of him and held his
hands behind him & Call'd out for Assistance
and their came a Man from the other side
of the way and told this Informt. where in
the Womens Company that if he resisted he
would knock him down the two Women
which this Edward Winkland< no role > was their robb'd
this Informt : of two half Guineas in Gold,
an made of this Informt: cry'd for the
Watch & they came to his Assistance and
he Caus'd Alice Winkland< no role > Mary Downing< no role >
& this Edward Winkland< no role > to be taken into
Custody and they were all carry'd to the
Watchouse & the two Women were try'd at
the Old Baily and [..] Convicted of single Felony
and ordered for Transportation Edward
Winkland was admitted to give Bail and
never appear'd [..] this informt: caus'd him
to be Apprehended and taken and this informt
further saith that he is Possitive that this
Edwd: Winkland< no role > is the Man that was in
Company with the said two Women when
he was Robb'd of the two half Guineas in
Gold
