Voluntarily made Oath that
upon the
Easter Eve lastabout 12 oClock in the night between
Saturday & Easter day last he this
deponent was Assaulted by two
persons to him unknown in mens Cloaths

Common highway or Street in Smith
field
in London near the End of Chick
lane & that the Said two persons
put him in fear &Robbed him
of one hat one Wigg one pair
of Stockins and Eight Shillings & Six
pence in Silver &
about4 half
pence or thereabouts & that that in
a few minutes he acquainted & a Watch
man then & upon duly of his having
been Robbed & ran after him but
Could not overtake him & further
