Eliz. Browne< no role > lodged last night at Mr Smiths agst. the three
Mariners at Limehouse Mr Smith is a painter , She has knowne
him 4 or 5 years, has lodged there 6 or 7 Months in & out
but Sometimes lodged at Mr Sims a Scowrer on Windmill
hill has knowne Sims above 6 months the last [..] vizt
abt' eight monthes agoe lived with Mr [..] Robinson Velvet
Weaver & Pawn broker on Windmill hill & lived there 6 or 7 months
at £4 Same she was borne at Limehouse , but has noe relacons but
a Sister at Deptford bridge a Servant with Mr Laut a baker Since the out of
Service pawned her clothes, & came away because ye work too
hard came from smithityes morn bet 7 & 8 a Clock &
[..] without Staying at any house came to Barbicane to Mr Nicholls but
She never Saw him before the found the Diamonds a month agoe
on a Wednesday in upper moor fields wrapt up in 2 or 3 white
rays tyed rounds with a String, & lay that night at Sims, opened it in
ye fields & there were 9 Stones, & lost 2 there being but Seven tole noe
body She had found them She imagined them to be diamonds [..] wra[t
up carefully She lost 2 of the Houses five or 6 dayes agoe She askt br. for then
She lived 13 months at Capt. Knobbs at Limehouse abt .a yeare &
half agoe
