WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two of His Majestys's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by you the Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Parish of Saint Catherine Coleman
London, That Martha Nixon Widdow
of John

deceas'd is lately intruded into
your said Parish not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of Poverty
unless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said Martha
Nixon that att the time of the Deaths of King
Charles the Second & by the Space of Forty days
before that time & Some Months after her said
Husband
was an Inhabitant in the said Parish
of Saint Andrew Undershaft
London & hath
not obtain d. any subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge the last
legal Settlement of the said Martha Nixon< no role >
to be in the said
Parish of Saint Andrew Undershaft
London
and that thitherto She
ought by Law to be sent
THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said Martha
Nixon
from and out of your said Parish of Saint Catherine
Coleman London, to the said Parish of St.
Andrew Undershaft
London
and Her leave with
the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for Her according to Law. Hereof fail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
