Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Peter in
Cheap Side London.respectively.

WHEREAS Complaint hath this Day been made
unto us two ofHisMajesty's Justices of the
Peace for this City, and the Liberties thereof (Quorum
unus) by You theChurchwardens andOverseers of
the Poor of the Parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate
London, That John Willoughby< no role > , Sarah< no role > his Wife and
Sarah< no role > their Daughter about five Months old are lately
come into and are now resident in

your said Parish of St. Giles not having obtained any
legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto by reason of the Poverty of the said John & the
Sickness of his said Wifeunless timely prevented,
which Complaint we adjudge to be true. And forasmuch
as it appears unto us by the Oath of the said John Willengh by
that about Sixteen Yrs. ago (being then a Singleman without
Child or Children) he was a yearly hired Servant with one Mr
Zachary Newberry< no role > a Linnen Draper in the Parish of St. Peter
in Cheapside London by the Space of one whole year & an
half at £4. P Ann Wages and that he hath
not obtaind.and subsequent Settlement. We the said Ju-
stices are therefore of Opinion, and do adjudge thelast
legal Settlement of the said John Willoughby Sarah
his wife & Sarah his Daughterto be in the said
Parish of St. Peter in Cheapside London
and that thithertothey
ought by Law to be sent.

THESE are therefore in His Majesty's Name to re-
quire You to remove and convey the said John Willengh by
Sarah his Wife and his Said Daughter Sarah
from and out of your said Parish of St. Giles without
CripplegateLondon, to the said Parish of St.
Peter in Cheapside Londonand them leave with
the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or
one of them, who is and are hereby required to receive
and provide for themaccording to Law. Hereof sail
not, and this shall be your Warrant. Given under our
Hands and Seals the 16th.Day of SeptemberAnno
Domini 1724 .
