Sheweth
That by an Indenture of Apprenticeship bearing date the Eighteenth
day of April anno Dui 1720

a poor child of the
parish of St Brides
in this City, was put and placed forth an Apprentice
by the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
unto
Samuel Brackley< no role >
of the Parish of St. Martin Ludgate
Victualler
to serve untill he the said Apprentice shall attain untill his full age
of Four and Twenty years as by the said Indentures more at
large may appear That Your Petitioners said husband Samuel
Brackley is since deceased and the said Arthur Whale the
Apprentice doth now greatly misbehave himself towards her
by frequently insulting and abuseing here absenting her service
night and day, purloining and imbezleing her Goods, and abuseing
her customers in such Ende manner that she is greatly damaged
thereby and many other undemeaners and Enormities.
Wherefore and for that the said Apprentice Doth not
doe his duty to your Petitioner his Mistress she most
humbly prays your Honr and Worpps will be pleased to
hear her in the Prmisses and Discharge the said
Apprentice from your Petr. or otherwise to deal with
him as to your Honr and Worpps shall seeme meet
And your Petr. shall ever Pray Etc.
