The said Edward Doe saith that he is an Appntice
to Gerald
Breten< no role >
at the four Swans
[..] on St. Mary Hill
Victualler
& hath been so by the space of Two years &
upwards during which Time he this Exaiant hath at
diverse Times cheated and Defrauded his said Master
of Severall Sumes of money amounting in the whole
to the Sume of Fifty Pounds and upwards, which he
at Sundry Times, and reced of & from severall Companies
in his said Masters house by Small Sumes at a Times
and further this Exaiant Saith that he at severall
Times did given, in money belonging to his said Master
at diverse Times ye Several sumes following vizt. To
his father £15. to his Mother £12. to his Sister Eliza.

£10. & to his Brother Richard< no role >
£10. amounting in ye whole to ye sume of £58. and
further this Exaiant saith that his said Parents and
Relations were ignorant of the methods he this
Exaiant took in obtaining ye said Money they never
asking him that Question nor did he over acquaint
them therewth:
