the Peace at the General Quarter Sessions of the Peace
Assembled.

The humble petition and Appeal of
William Leister< no role >

Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Warrt. under the Hands Sr. Gerard Conyers
Knt. St. Mayr: of the City of London and Sr. George Merttins< no role > Knt . Two
of his Maties Justices of the Peace wth. in the same City yor. Pett was
did judged to be reputed Father of a Female Bastard Child born on the
Body of Jane Nailer< no role > Singlewoman and was orders to pay unto the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the poor of the parish of St. Peters
the poor where the sd. Child was born Six Pounds & ten pence for
Charges expended & paid out in the maintenance & providing for
the sd. Female bastard Child And also to pay weekly from the
14th. day of May being the date of him said Warrt. to the said
Churchwardens two Shillings & Six pence for so long time
as the sd Child shall continue a charge to the said parish

yor. Petr. thinks himself aggreived by the said adjudis
ration of his sd. two Justices And humbly Appeals to yd.
Housr. for Releife therein and Prays to be heard
touching the plumies And that the Churchwardens &
overseers may be ordered to [..] Two show Cause
with the sd. Warrt. & adjudication of the sd. two Justices
[..] not be quarters And yor Psh. [..]
therefrom

And he shall ever pray Etc.
