The Order of Sr Willm Stewart< no role > Knt Lord Mayor of the City
of London and Sr Francis Forbes< no role > Knt and Alderman Two of his Majesties Justices
of the peace for the Said City whereof one is of the Quorum and both residing next
to the Limits where the parish Church of St Olaves Hartstreet within the
Liberties of the said City Standeth made at the request and Complaint of the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish the Twentieth
day of March Anno Dui 1721/2 and in the Eighth Year of the Reign of our
Sovereign Lord George by the Grace of God King of Great Brittain et According
to the form of the Statute in that Case made and Provided concerning a
Female Bastard Child born in the Said Parish of the Body of Elizabeth Atkins< no role >
Singlewoman Which said Bastard Child is now Chargeable to the Said Parish and
likely so to continue

Upon Examinacon of the Cause and Circumstances of the premisses taken upon Oath
of the Said Elizabeth Atkins< no role > before us the Said Justices and due consideration thereof being by us
had It appeareth unto us that the said Female Bastard Child was born in the said parish
of St Olaves Hartstreet London and is become Chargeable to the Same and That Abraham
Lusiena
< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. a Jew late of the same parish did beget the said Female Bastard child Wherefore
we do Adjudge him the said Abraham Lusiena to be the Putative father of the said Female
Bastard child And for the relief of the said parish of St Olaves Hartstreet for what they have
Expended And to Indempnifie them from the further Charge of the said Child We the said
Justices do hereby Order the said Abraham Lu Siena forthwith upon Notice of this Our Order
to pay or cause to be paid unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish
of St Olaves Hartstreet or to Some or one of them the Sum of Forty Shillings of Lawful
money of Great Brittain which appears to us to have been Expended by them in maintaining
the said Female Bastard Child and other incident Charges And also That he the said
Abraham Lusiena do and shall on Monday in every Week Weekly from henceforth so long
as the said Bastard Child Shall be Chargeable to the said parish of St Olaves Hartstreet
pay or cause to be paid unto the Church Wardens and Overseers of the poor of the said parish
for the time being or to some or one of them the Sum of two Shillings and Six pence of
like lawfull money for and towards the maintenance bringing up & keeping the
said Female Bastard Child And lastly We do Order That the Said Abraham Lusiena
do upon Notice of this our Order forthwith give Sufficient Security to the Church wardens
and Overseers of the poor of the said parish well ad truly to perform so much thereof as
doth concern the said Abraham Lusiena In Witness whereof we the said Justices
have hereunto set our hands and Seals the day and year first above written
