The humble Petition and Appeal of John Smart< no role >

Sheweth

That by Virtue of an Order or Adjudication under the hands and Seals of
two of his Maties Justices of the Peace for the City of London (Quor
unus) bearing Date the Seventeenth day of September last past your
petitioner was charged and adjudged to be the putative Father of a male
last and Child born of the body of Mary Sillito< no role > Singlewoman in the parish
of St. Botolph without Aldersgate London and become chargeable thereunto
by which said Order your Petitioner is ordered to pay unto the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish the sume of Five pounds and
Ten Shillings being by Them already Expended and the weekly sume of Two
Shillings and Six pence for the maintenance of the said male bastard Child
so longs as the said Male bastard Child shall continue to be chargeable to
the said Parish.

That your Petition conceiving himself aggrieved by the said
Order and Adjudication of the said two Justices Do humbly
Appeal is your Honr and Worpps will be pleased to hear him in the
prmisses and that the Churchwardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the said Parish of St Botolph without Aldersgate
London may appear before you this Prsons general quarter
Sessions of the peace to hear and abide the judgment and determination
of Your Honr and Worpps touching this Appeal
