The Examination & Confession of
William Cullum< no role > ,

This Examinant saith yt last night being ye
Second day of May, he laid ye end of a Candle
lighted, to a Baskett of Chipps, yt stood in ye
Cellar, of Richard Wallis< no role > his Masters house, being yt Naggs head
in Naggs head court ; near Gracious street , with
an intent to sett ye house on fire thereby.
yt ye afternoon of ye same day three strangemen
who he knew not; were drinking in ye sd house
& advised him so to do, & promised to give
him three Guineas for doing it
