of his Maties Justices of the Peace
for the City of London
This Examinant confesseth and Saith That
on Wednesday the thirteenth day of April
instant about seven of the Clock in the Evening
he took out of a draw called Frydays [..] Draw
belonging to Elias Turner< no role >
Sr George Caswell< no role >
and
Company the Sume of about four hundred and
Eighty odd Pounds together with a little book
of Memorandums belonging to one Richard
Newton< no role >
a servt to the said Elias Turner< no role >
& Compa
and that he paid three hundred Guineas part
of the said Sume of 480 pounds to one William
Barker< no role >
who was to be heard off at the Ship and
Castle Tavern in Cornhill for which he took
his note And this Examinant further saith That
after he had so taken away the said mony he
mett with one George Crooke< no role >
and Durrant Eustace< no role >
at the Castle Tavern
in Lombard Street
and
sometime aftewards this Examinant together
with the said Crooke and Enstace went to the
house & one Richard Cooper< no role >
a Waterman
at
Marygold Stairs in order to agreewith himand
consult with him about goeing to France And
after some consultation amongst them the said
Ricahrd Cooper did agree with this Examinant
and accordingly brought about in which they went
to Tillbury the said Cooper the Waterman telling
them that it was not safe to goe to Graves end
and this Examinant further Confesseth and Saith
