now Standing Convicted as Accessary to a Felony for
which she is liable to the penalty of Transportation
or burning in the hands Which great Misfortune
is chiefly fallow upon her for want of the Appearance
of friends and credible Witnesses that were ready to
Speak to the matter of fact and also to her Reputation
about were prevented by a wrong information of the
time when trial came on.
That we do believe her to be very inocent in the
pact of knowing the Goods to be stolen she having
Several times before been employed by the Same persons
to pawn goods in the Same manner and at the
places she new stand Charged for.
That we have known her Several Years and have
employed her in the business of Seart making, at
which she has been very industrious was & faithful
And in case this Court will be pleased to remitt the
punishment of Transportation, do sure by promise
to take her into business and put her in a way
whereby She may got an honest Livelehood And
don't in the least doubt but her future course of
life will answer the ends of this our humble
