The Information of John Fiswigg< no role > late servant
to Adrian Vanbrakell< no role > of London Merchant
taken upon Oath this Ninthday
of October 1718 before me
one of his Majestys Justices of the peace for
the city of London as followeth.

This Dept. Maketh Oath that on Tues day the seventeenth day of
December last one Samuell Bothwright< no role > came and rung at the door of the
Depts. said Mr. in Winchester Street near Broad Street in the City of
London And his Dept. goeing to the door he the said Bothwright asked this
Dept. if this Mar. was within And this Dept. told him he was af dinner and
asked his name and businesse and the said Bothwright say'd his name
was Davies whereupon this Dept. went into the Parlour to his said Mar
& told him of it Whereupon this Depts. Mar. sayd to this Dept. that
he did not Know any body of that name and bid this Dept. tell the
said Bothwright that he was at dinner and that he should send
his busineses and this Dept. went out of the Parlour from his Mar and
shutt the door and this Dept. desired the said Bothwright to send
his businesse and Bothwright then told this Deponent that he
came from the other end of the Town and had a little Note upon his
Mar. and this Dept. saith that he then desired Bothwright to give him the
Note for he did his Mar: businesse and Bothwright Answered that he
coould not for he must deliver it himself And this Dept. saith that
as he this Dept. was goeing again into the Parlour to his Mar. the
said Bothwright followed him this Deponent and attempted to force
himself into the room where this Depts. said Mar was sitting at dinner
with one Mr. Morais whereupon this Dept. turned back upon the said
Bothwright and kept him back and would not lett him goe in to the
Parlour this Dept. not knowing what he would have the said Bothwright
not telling this Dept. his businesse And the said Bothwright still pressing in avery rude
and Insolent manner for Entrauce into the Parlour where this Dept. Mar
was without acquainting this Dept. with his businesse this Dept. did through
the said Bothwright from the parlour door to the street door
and forced him out at the street door and shutt the door upon him
and as this Dept. was thrusting the said Bothwright out at the
street door Bothwright then (and not before) told this Deponent
he had an acconagst. his said Mar for Mr. Felthem the Brewer
and that he would fetch a Constable and break open the door
and that he would have his Mar. dead or alive. or to that
Effect and this Dept. furthers saith that when the said Bethwright
was so forced and shut out of the street door, of his this Depts.
said Mars. house as aforesaid He the said Bothwright as this
