The Examination, & voluntary conf-
-ession of James Wonnell< no role > this day take
before Sr Wm Withers< no role > Knt Aldm. & one of
his Majties Justs of the peace for this City
& Libs Etc

This Examinant freely confessed that being a Lodger in one
Phillip Browns< no role > house he took out of a deal box standing in
the Chamber where he Lay, divers Sheers, & napkins & Some
table Clothes all wch. having sd fello. taken he sold: And that he
this Examt: did alsoe at another time take away a paire of Tabby
Stayes in the same fello. manne, which he pawnd: This
Examt. farther sayeth that he being by profession a Tayler , was
intrusied with a since of mans apparell, to make some reparations
to, which since of apparell he sold to one Sampson Gregory< no role > , all
which goods & apparell abovesd ware the property of the foresaid
Phillip Browne< no role > his Landlords This Examt. further acknowledge
he stole & Sold a qurto comm prayer book, the goods of Richard
Browne
< no role > , Son to Phillip Browne< no role > abovesaid.
