Mary Hall< no role > maketh Oath that she this Dept has been tenderly brought up by her
Friends and parents with Sobriety and Chastity and that when this Depont had
arrived to about the age of Sixteen years to wit about the Month of October last
One Elizabeth Powell< no role > made it her Business to gett acquainted with this Depont & wou'd
often times invite this Dept to her hons and this Dept then not knowing any other than
that the said Powell was a Virtuous Woman this Dept did sometime in the sd
Month of October go to the said Powells hons in Wormwood street near Broad
Street London when & where the said Powell much persuaded this Dept to keep
away from her this Depts Mother and friends telling this dept. She the said Powell
had a Great Respect for this Dept. and that she intended to be the makeing of this Dept
and provide for this Dept fine Cloaths and other necessaries if this Depont would
but be persuaded by her the said Powell And upon the insinuation and
Professions of Friendship of the sd Powell to this Dept this Dept was prevailed
on to leave her Mother and Friends to go the sd Powell who did on the 24th.
Day of the said Month of October last past carry this Dept to the hons of one John
Baptisthall
< no role > in a Court in princess Street where she the said Powell took Lodgings
for this Depont & agreed to pay Four Shillings P Week for the same & the same day
the said Powell without the Knowledge or Consent of this Dept introduced into
this Depont. Company One Stephen Biss< no role > Esqr. who then & there in the presence of
the said Powell and with the Aid and Assistance of the sd Powell (who Lake of ye
Chamber Door and took to hersefe the Key so as no body could come to the
Assistance of this Dept against this Dept. will Did Feloniously Ravish this
Dept the this Dept did cryout with all her might & force for Assistance was
taken with terrible Tremblingqhts but notwithstanding all this Dept could
Do the said Biss did then & there with the Assistance & Aid of the sd Powell
Enter this Dept. Body and had Carnall Knowledge thereof and job this
Deponts. Viriginity feloniously from her this Dept agt her this Dept Coments
