of the Parish of St Bridget als Brides

upon Oath the 24th day of April
Anno Din 1718

The Informt. Sayth, that on the 17th of Aprill Instant about
11 at night, evening to his Lodging the Corner of Dean
Street having Informed by him Land Lady that Mr Bowen his father
maide had been time to enquire for him thereupon he
went Imediately to his fathers house in her street &
when he Came there, he found him out of order &
understood he was wounded & pressing him very
much to know who parish him he at lost told
him Quin had don it but he could get little cave
out of him will Sunday the 20th Instant & that
then sthe sayd Mr Bowen thinkeing he should Dye
of the sayd wound did declare to this Informt. that
he did send a Pater to Mr Quin Only to talk with him
but that Quin then gave him such a busire
Language that it arose to a Quarrell, & that
thereupon Mr Bowen would have had Mr Quinngs
over the Water with him, but Quin Refused [..]
& will on Oath sayd he should go into a Traven
& that they did go together into the Swan Tavrn on
Cornhill , but could not have a Convenient room
there, & Comeing out together Quinn forced him into
the Paper head Tawen [..] where they went up
stages together & giving into a Room up Stayed,
Qinn Barricaded the door with two Charier &
then they engraged, & that the sayd Mr Bowen had him
in his Power & told him so But Qyinn being the
Stramper, Driver his an away & gave him the
wound of which be afterward dyed & that her
Sayd Father Mr Bowen Likewise told this Informt.
that Quin had her borously on ordered him & actonly
him but 4 more evening his wife & Children
