The humble petition and appeal of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St Margaret Lothbury

Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Warrant or pass Order under the hands and Seals
of two of his Majesties Justices of the peace for the City of London
(Quorn Unns)
uponbearing date the Eleventh Day of September last
past

with
John Paine< no role >
her son
were removed from the
parish of St Mary Staining
London unto the said Parish of St.
Margarett Lothbury
alleadging the said parish to be the place of their
last legal Settlement
That your Petrs. doubt not but to prove that the said Rebecca
Paine< no role >
never had any legal Settlement in the said parish of St.
Margaret Lothbury
whereby they conceive themselves aggreived
by the said Warrant and Judgment of the said two Justices and
do humbly appeal to your Worpps therefrom
Your Petrs therefore most humbly pray your
Honr and Worpps that the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish of St. Parish
of St. Mary Staining
may appeal before you and
hear and abide the determination of your Lon [..]
