taken the 25th. October 1715 before Sr. Wm.
Withers< no role > Knt . & one of his Majesties Justices
of the peace for this Citty and Libs. thereof

The Examinant being asked how he came to drive
the wheels of his waggon over the head of Richd: Trott< no role >
a child of about 5 years old, & thereby Killing him

Answered that his wagon was Loaded with scraw
and that he had the fore horse by the head and did
not see the Child, & that another man keed the Fill-
-horse by his head, & farther sayeth not
