About the beginning of March Mr. John Bigg< no role >
going wth me to Newgate Market to buy
meat ask'd me after I had bargaind to take
a Glass of Wine; going wth himafterto the
Queens head Tavern in Pater Noster Row
after some discoursehe said he couldrelating
to some money that I had borrowed of him
& the time & manner of repaymt. Re said yt.
if I was not troubl'd wth: [..] too Sencpulors
confeience he could putt me in a method
how to got money; being desicons of knowing
it & obliging me to Seecray he propos'd the
takeing of Indorsemts from Bank Note
asking him wchhearway he could doe it
he told me he had a method wch. he would
not disclose but if I would be concern'd wth
him he would give me Demonstration & I
should have a 3d pt of the money got; I
told himanswer'd yt. the Guilt of it was of
so heinous a nature that I would not be stain'd
wth it & wish'd he had never open'd his
month to me of it &thenputting him in
mind of the hazard he run he made
answer it was but a Pillory buisness to
wch Iunfr [..] edreplyed ye I should as willingly
nitter death as undergoe such shame when
he had read this answer he began to fires [..] again
for his money & told memyhe wonder'd I
would not [..] ng age when he knewI [..] d my
my circumstances & that I Cov'd my case
I told him he neither knew my circumstancy
