the poor of the Severall parishes of St. Giles without Cripplegate
St Buttolph without Aldgate, St. Andrew Wardrobe
, St Natherine
coleman St Andrew Holborn
, St Sepulchre
St Brides
, Allhallows
on the Wall
, St Buttolph Aldergate
, and St Buttolph without
Bishopsgate
.
Sheweth
That one petitonrs are very much over burtherned with poor and not able to raise
sufficient Sumes of Mony amongst themselves to relieve them not with standing
their Assesments are greater than heretofore Yet the charge of the poor is
farr above their assessments as the same upon their Examination hath divese
times appeared to Severall Worthy Aldermen of this City Appointed to hear
the same And their poor Dayly increasing upon them their said parishes
some of them lying neare the suburbs and others of them in the Suburbs of
this City
Their humble petition therefore into good honr and
Worpps is that you will be favourably pleased to grant
unto them the Contribution of other parished within this
City for and towards the releiving the poor as they have
formerly had which are particularly hereunder menconed
or such further Allowance as to your Honr. and Worpps
