Complaint being this Day made unto no Two of Her Maties:

for this City and ye. Libties thereof (Quor unus) by you ye.
Churchwardens & overseere of ye. poor of the parish of St. Margate
in Lothbury London, That one

is lately come into
your said Parish not having obtained any legall Settlement
there, and is likely to become chargeable thereto, unless
hirely prevented. And for as much as it appeare unto us by
ye. Oath of the said

, That Eleven years ago & upwards
he the said
Samuell Linn< no role >
rented a Coffee Roome & one other Room in the Parish
of St. Bartholomew by the Exchange
London at the Rent of
Twenty pounds p ann out of which said Room was then called or
known by the same of same Coffee house
, where he
lived for the Spare of one year and an half & upwards
and has not by any means whatsoever obtained any other
Settlement since. We do therefore adjudge the present legall
Settlement. of ye. said

St. Bartholomew
by ye. Exchange London. And that thither

These are therefore in Her Maties Name to Require you
ye. Churchwardens and Overseers of ye. Poor of the Parish of

convey the said Samuell Linn< no role >
from & out of your said Parish
to ye. Parish of St. Bartholomew
by ye Exchange London
and him leave with the Churchwardens & Overseers of the
poor there, or one of them, who are hereby required to
receive and provide for him according to Law Hereof
faile not and this Shall be your Warrant Given under
our hands and Seales this S.E. day of August Anno Dni.
