The said Examt. upon her Examination before
me doth Confess and acknowledge that

the wife of
Thomas Hitch< no role >
(whom this Examt.
well knows) came to this Examt. the 4th. day of this
instt. Novemb at the house of this Examt. in Moor
Lane if the parish of St: Giles Cripplegate
in the
County of Middx but not finding this Examt: at
home went away at that time but soon after
finding this Examt. near the Kings head Alehouse
in Woodstreet
they went in together to the said
Alehouse where the said

ofinformed this
Examt. That one
John Jones< no role >
lately belonging
to her Majti: Ship the Blenheim was dead and
that there was a Tickett in the Navy Office
due
for the Serive of the said Jones which amounted
to Six pounds nine Shillings but she could not
take the Tickett out of the Office unless she
had some person to take an Administration from
Doctors Commons
and with all told this Examt.
that if she would go to Doctors Commons
and
swear herselfe the widow of the said Jones she
should have one third of the money due to the sd.
Jones for his pay in the said ship Blenheim
and the said
Ann Hitch< no role >
gave this Examt: a
Shilling in Earnest for her personating the
Widow
