The humble Petition and Appeale of the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the poor of the parish of St Bartholomew the
less
London
Sheweth
That One
Mary Croome< no role >
Widdow
by virtue of a warrant under the
hands and Seals of two of her Majesty's Justices of the peace
within this
City one being of the Quoru) bearing Date the Eleventh Day of December
last past was removed from the precinct of Whitefryers
London unto
the said parish of St Bartholomew the less
alleadging the said parish
to be the place of the last legall settlement of the said Mary Croome
That your Petitioners doubt not but to prove that the
Said Mary Croome< no role >
never had any legall Settlement in the
Said parish of St Bartholomew the Less
whereby they
conceive themselves aggreived by the said Warrant and
Judgment of the said two Justices and do humbly appeal
to your Honr: and Worpps therefrom
Your Petitioners therefore most humbly pray
your Honr. and Worpps will be pleased to hear
them in the prmisses and that the Overseers
of the said precinct of White Fryers
may appear
before you and hear and abide the determination
of your Honr: and Worpps touching this Appeale
And your Petitionrs: Shall ever Pray Etc
