Whereas it appears unto us whose Hands and Seales are
hereunto sett Two of her Maties Justices of the Peace for the
City of London and Libties thereof (Quor unus) upon the
complaint of the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poore of
the Parish of All Hallows the Great London, That one Anne
Jones
< no role > a Singlewoman is come lately into the said Parish with an
intent to settle there without giveing notice in writing to the
said Church wardens and Overseers of the Poore or to any of
them as by Law directed and required, and it appears unto us
that by reason of the poverty and in ability of the sd. Anne
Jones
< no role > she is likely to become chargeable to the said Parish
And whereas it appears unto us the said Justices upon
the Oath of the said Anne Jones< no role > , That she was never married,
and that she lived a hired Servt. by the yeare for above one
whole year together about ten years agoe with one William
Floyd
< no role > and Susanna< no role > his wife at the signe of the Lyon and
Lamb in the Parish of St. Helen neare Bishopsgate London
and it not appearing unto us that the sd Anne Jones< no role > hath
obtained any other legall Settlement since, Wee the said
Justices doe therefore deeme and adjudge the sd Parish of St.
Hellen neare Bishopsgate London to be the place of last legall
Settlement of the said Anne Jones< no role > , and whether by Law shee
ought now to be sent.

These are therefore in her Maties name strictly to charge &
require you, some or one of you the Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poore of the sd. Parish of All Hallows the Great London
on sight hereof To remove and Convey the body of the said
Anne Jones< no role > out of yor. said Parish unto the sd. Parish of St.
Hellen neare Bishopsgate London, and her deliver unto the
Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore there, or to Some
of them who are hereby required her to receive and pvide for
(as her necessities shall require) untill they shall be of her
discharged by due order of Law, and hereof faile not at
yor. Perills: Given under our Hands and Seales this 4th.
Day of May Ano Dui 1711 .

To the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the said Parish of All Hallows the Great London
and to the Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poore
of the sd Parish of St. Hellen near Bishopsgate London
and whom she it doth or may concerne.
