Whereas it appears unto us whose Hands and Seales
are hereunto sett Two of her Maties Justices of the Peace
for the City of London and Libties thereof (Quor unus) upon
the complaint of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poore
of the Parish of St. Buttolph without Bishopsgate London,
That one William Bentley< no role > is come lately into the said
Pish with Deunis< no role > his wife endeavouring to settle there without
giveing notice in writing to the Sd Churchwardens and Overseers
of the poore or to any of them of the house of his abide & number
of his Family in the said Parish as by Law required, and
it appears unto us that by reason of the poverty of the said
William Bentley< no role > , he & his sd. wife are likely to become
chargeable to the said Parish, And whereas it appears
unto us the said Justices upon the Oath of the sd. William Bentley< no role >
That about Twenty Eight years agoe he went to and lived in the
Parish of St. Buttolph without Aldgate in the County of Middx
and continued there for Seaven or Eight yeares then next following,
and wee doe not find upon a Strict Examinacon that hee hath
obtained any other legall Settlement since, wherefore wee the
sd. Justices doe deeme & adjudge the sd Pish of St. Buttolph
without Aldgate in the County of Middx to be the place of
last legall Settlemt. of the sd. William Bentley< no role > & Deunis his
wife, and whither by Law they ought now to be sent.

These are therefore in her Maties name strictly to charge
and require you the Church wardens and Overseers of the Peace
of the sd. Pish of St. Buttolph without Bishopsgate London,
some or one of you forthwith on sight hereof To remove and
Convey the bodies of the sd. William Bentley< no role > & Dennis< no role > his
wife out of yor. sd. Pish unto the said Pish of St. Buttolph
without Aldgate in the County of Middx and them deliver
unto the Church wardens and Overseers of the Poore there or
to Some of them who are hereby required them to receive and
