The Surveyors the latter end of the yeare were won't at a Spiall Sessions held for
that Purpose to made Oath what money had been by them laid out & expended
upon the amending & repairing the highwayes And the Justices then granted their
Warrt to cause a Rate to be made for Reimburseing them & to distreyne in Case of
Now payment

But Note

This yeare the Surveyors of both Parts of the Parish have agreed wth some Gravell
men to keep the said [..] highwayes in good repaire & the said Surveyors.
indempnified from Indictmts [..] And the Surveyors are to pay them £100 for so
doing to witt £50 the 30th of September & £50 the 30th of December next

One Moyety of the sd £100 is to be paid by the Freedome Surveys
& the other Moyety by the Lordshipp Surveyors.

Note the Freedome Surveyors would have them book made now that they may Collect
the money to make good the said Paymts
