Whereas Complaint hath beene made unto us [..]
of his Maties Justices of the Peace for the said Citty (Quor
unus) by the Church Wardens & Overseers of the poore of [..]
Parish of St. Buttolph Bishopsgate London, That one William
Fry
< no role > and Elizabeth< no role > his wife , and Patience Fry< no role > their
daughter are come into the said parish endeavouring to
settle there without giveing notice in Writing to the Sayd
Church Wardens & Overseeres of the poore or any of them
as by Law is required, and are become chargeable to the said
parish And Whereas it appears unto us upon the Oath
of the said William Fry< no role > , that his last legall Settlement
was in the parish of St. Mary Magdalen old Fish street
within the said Citty where he served as an apprentice
with one William Andrews< no role > Vintner , untill the yeare of
our Lord One Thousand Six hundred fifty & Six,he [..]
having been a soldier & in his Maties. service ever since
untill the yeare One Thousand Six hundred and
Ninety; Since which time he hath only been an
In mate, and hath had noe other legall Settlemt.
Whatsoever than in the said parish of St. Mary
Magdalen Old Fish street .

These are therefore in his Maties name Strictly to
Charge and Command you, or some or one of you the Church
Wardens & Overseers of the poore of the said parish of St.
Buttolph Bishopsgate , forthwith upon Sight hereof To
remove and Convey the bodyes of the said William Fry< no role > and
Elizabeth his Wife, & Patience< no role > their daughter out of yor. said
parish, unto the said parish of St. Mary Magdalen Old
Fish street , and their deliver unto the Church-Wardens and
Overseers of the poore there, or to some or one of them, who
are hereby required them to receive and provide for has occasion
shall require) untill they shall be of them discharged by due
Course of Lawe; hereof faile not at yor. perilles; Given under
our hands and Seales this 26th. day of March Ao. Dui
