Sheweth

That yor. Petrs. are very much over burthened with Poore and nott able to Raise Sufficient
Sumes of money amongst themselves to Releive them Notwithstanding their Assessments
are greater than therefore Yett the Charge of their poore is farr above their said
Assessements As the Same upon full Examination hath many times appeared to divers Aldren
of the Citty appointed to heare the same and their poore daily Encreasing upon them Their
said Parishes lyeing some of them neare to the Suberbes and others of them in the
Subcriber of this Citty

Their Humble Suites therefore unto yor. good honor Worspps. is that you
will be favourable pleased to graunt unto them the Contribucons of other
Parishes within this Citty for and towards the Releiving their poore As
They have formerly had which are particularly hereunder menconed
or such further Allowance As to yor. Honr. Worpps. shall Seeme meete
