This Informt. Saith that on ye 18th day of this
Instant November [..] abt. leaven of
ye Clock in ye Evening he this Informt.
& one Sr Andrew Slanning< no role > (since decd)
went together to ye Kings Play house
in Drury Lane & after ye play was done
he this Informt. ye sd Sr Andrw Slanning< no role >
& ye sd Sr Andrew leading one Mrs Blair
by ye hand going toward ye Rose Taverne
in Covent garden to drinke a glass of
Wine together but goeing out off Drury
Lane side was forced to goe through
Vinegar yard & so round into bridgett
Streett that way & this Informt. being
gone a little before was gott into ye Rose
Tavern & hearing a noise without came
out againe & then saw one Mr Cowland
with a sword naken in his hand &brought
tooke hold of him & brought him into ye
Taverne who there upon gave this
