taken before me upon oath this Eighteenth
day of September 1700

This Examinant upon her Corporall oath
Sayth that She hath lodged in the house of John
Box< no role > in Temple Street new water lane about three
quarters of a yeare and thatBox wife of
the Said John Box< no role > is a person of a Servd life and
conversation and entertains & Suffers Severall Servd
disorderly persons to lye togeither know
ingly and that this Examinant hath
playd at her house as a Comon where
and that She hath layde with Six Severall
men in the Said house and that on
Sunday was Sevennight at Night this
Examinant comeing to her lodgeing her
Said Land lady had put a Strange man into
her Bed and this Examinant refuseing
to goe to bed to him ye Sd Box wife of ye Said
John Box< no role > turned her out of dores by forse into
the Street and would not Suffer her to come
in againe that Night; and this Examinant
further Sayth that ye SdBox wife of John
used to Send for another woman whose name
She knows not to play & obleidge persons yt
came to her house in this Examinants
absence & yt Box, tooke Money for her keeping company
wth change men if they did spend theire money for drink Etc
