Wee the Grand Jury for the City of London Att the Sessions held at
Justice hall in the Old Baily the 16th day of October in the 12th Year of
his Majesties Regin do present

That the Meeting or Caballing of any number of persons in order to the gaining
the Votes of any other persons in the Election of any Magistrate of this City by
publishing papers or feasting & Treating any Elector or any other Evil practice
is in consist at with the Freedom of Elections & greatly tends to keep up divisions
amongst the Citizens of this City

Wee further present
That the Soliciting of persons sumoned to be on Jurys either by Writeing or
speaking to them in order to have their favour or FriendShip any manner of
Way is what may be of dangerous Consequence as tending to the perverting
of Justice.
