Whereas Complaint was this day made unto
us two of his Mats. Justices of the peace for this
City (quor unus) by the Churchwardens of the
pish of Alhallowes Lumbd strt That Margarett
Mudge< no role > Widow on Saturday last came into the sd
pish wth intent to gained a settlemt there and is
likely to become chargeable thereto if not prvented
And where as it appeares rents is upon Exacacon
of the said Margaret on Oath That about fourteen
or fifteen yeares since shee lived it an hired
Servt . for the Lease of a yeare and upwards wth
Granada Chester< no role > Grocer then an Inhabitant in
the pish of St Hellens London at six pounds wages P
annm and after her coming the are Shee lived
[..] in Severall places as a Lodger onely
wherefore Wee do adjudge the sd pish of St
Hellens to be the place of her last legall
aboarde and Settlemt

This are therefore in his Math name
to charge and require you for this to passe
and convey the said Margarett Mudge< no role >
out of the Sd pish of Alhallowes Lambeth that
into the said pish of St. Hellens and leave
her wth the Churchwardens thereof whom
wee do also further in her math name charge
and require to take care and proove for
the said Margarett according to lane as their
do for their other poore untill they shall be
legally discharged of her And this shall
be your warrt Given under one hands and
Seales the 1st day of May 1699
