Who Saith That on the 24th. day of July last he
had feloniously stolen out of his Shop between
nine & ten of the Clock in the night three Dozens of worsted
Stocking of Severall Sorts of the Value of about
five Pounds and one John Thomas< no role > of Churchlane
hath owned that he stole the Said Stockins
And further Saith not.

of Middlx Labourr . taken before me the
8th. day of July Ao. Dni 1697

Who confesseth and Saith that yesterday was
fortnight he and Richd. Cooper< no role > and Joseph
Johnson< no role > and one William Stone< no role > were concerned
together in the felony above menconed of Stealing two
bundles of Stockins out of the Shop of the Said
George Benet about nine or ten of the Clock in the
night the Shop door being open and that he this
Examint. went into the Shop and woke away the
said Stockings and Richd. Cooper Joseph Johnson< no role > &
William Stone< no role > Stood at the door in the mean time
and he delivered the said Stockings to the Sd. Persons
