This Informant saith that he was a Trooper
in the his Grace the
Duke of Scomburgh Regmt: in Flanders
for some time and about the end of May
last was acquitted from his Service there and goeing between Dorman
and Brussells was taken prisoner by a French Party into Mons
where this Informt: lay a Fortinight and to gett himselfe [..]
acquitted admitted himselfe to [..] taken upp to St Jermans
by
an Officer of the French army as a souldier which was in July
last att which time this Informt: mett one John Eagan< no role >
in the
Streets near the Court gates where senrall psens Fleched
about him and inquired of severall affaires concelling England
which said John Eagan< no role >
this Informant hath since seen in
London and believes he is now resident there
